hello, hasnt it been like forever since ive like posted properly.
i talked to cam yesterday night and i reliased how long its been since we actually hung out, and i find that rather sad.
so i declared it should be made illegal,
instead of bothering to do utterly useless things like putting tables in a yellow box specially for people who are suicidal, coincidentally these are also the people who built the esplanade.
you realise, if less smoke, more healthy people, needing more food for longer periods of time. bigger population. and it isnt like singapore isnt suffering from over population already.
this also means less tax income to the government, which means they will need to get the money from a different source, such as charging more money for water etc OR raise the price of ciggies, which means less people will buy, which defeats the entire purpose. so i have no idea what their trying to prove. i mean if you smoke at a busstop its not like theres 1. wind to clear it away 2. the possibility that you move your big arse and stand up for a few minutes,
okay scratch the last point. thats unfair to non smokers. i wonder if any parliment members are smokers. HMMM.
they would have to smoke in private, cause it would set a bad example for kids.
if you smoke, you will get a job in the parliment, and once you do that, get corrupted without being caught and you have your life set. ho ho ho.
and i shall stop commenting on things that don't do not concern me.
oh oh oh wait i heard this extremly amusing conversation on the bus yesterday, yes, i was eavesdropping, but they were only on the seat behind me so its kinda hard not to, and they speaking rather LOUD. so this is a reminder to all people who talk about things they know nothing of. do not talk about it LOUDLY, as this will save you the embarrasment of being mocked of on a public blog.
anyway, as my memory fails me. i canit remember the exact details of the conversation but the basic gist of it. i realise that i have memory for pictures, places and even faces, basicaly anything visual, but not words or conversations. okay i have no figured out why im not that good book-wise.
they were speaking of smokers, it was funny,
"once you take a puff you can't stop you know."
"why do they smoke?"
"i don't know. stress?"
"i think most of them start smoking in poly or army."
at this point i was like. okay. cause i think its mostly in secondary where the foundation of smokers start, then gradually in poly/jc/army it spreads. but here i am speaking of things i know nothing of.
"you know there are such things as fake cigs?"
at this point. i was like. ha, yea okay right.
"you mean like fake, got no effect? no brand?"
"got brand, but something like that lah"
and here i was forcing giggles down.
then after that i forgot what they said. sorry for my horrible memory, or i could have brought you more.
anyway, after getting a tetanus shot this morning, i looked at the religion part of the OBS form and to my utter amazment, it was ticked at...
"christian"
shock;horror.
i asked my dad and he said its better you put a religion down then none cause they might ask questions and stuff and its not really encouraged to be without a religion and shit.
i shrugged a whatever.
